Regular Season Round 5: IBA Sezana - Admirals 93-68

There was a minor upset when their close opponent MoldovanAdmirals (0-4) were crushed by Slovenian IBA Sezana (3-1) 93-68 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by IBA Sezana. Admirals managed to win fourth quarter 24-17 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. IBA Sezana dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Admirals ' 36. IBA Sezana looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by Admirals ' players. Andrej Pandza stepped up and scored 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and Tadej Tominc chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. IBA Sezana's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Alexandru Plamadeala responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and Samuel Garabet scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five Admirals players scored in double figures. Despite that victory IBA Sezana went down to fourth position due to points difference, which they share with 10 other teams. Loser Admirals still keep top with four games lost. They share the position with 8 other teams.
